    seniority, educational and professional qualifications, work record, and performance in an interview. If you are a Senior Assistant or Stenographer, your eligibility often depends on your years in the cadre. This service requirement can be reduced if you've earned professional qualifications, like those from the Insurance Institute of India or other recognized institutes.

  • Competitive Channel: If you're confident in your test-taking abilities, the competitive channel might be the right fit for you. This route involves a written examination. Your final selection is based on a comprehensive assessment that includes your

    seniority, qualifications, work record, interview, and, crucially, your performance in the competitive exam. To qualify for the next stage, you generally need to score a minimum of 60% in the exam (50% for SC/ST employees). Your exam score is then given a specific weightage and combined with other factors to create a final merit list.
